My client is in search of a
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
to spearhead and oversee Geotechnical engineering endeavors in Dublin.
This pivotal role involves project management, providing technical direction, and fostering client relationships to drive project success.
Join a consultancy with a rich 45-year history of industry leadership, celebrated for pioneering solutions and mastery in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical risk management.
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a strong emphasis on design, you'll lead intricate projects, overseeing them from inception to completion with meticulous attention to detail and regulatory adherence.
Your proficiency will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive assessments of soil and rock properties, crafting inventive geotechnical design solutions, and assessing and managing geological hazards.
Additionally, you'll play a key role as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, guaranteeing smooth project implementation and alignment with industry best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with project management expertise.
Strong technical skills in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis software.
Strong proficiency in geotechnical design principles, including foundation design, slope stability analysis, retaining wall design, and ground improvement techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
