Vishay Siliconix is a leader in the development of power semiconductor products which improve efficiency in electronic systems for consumer, industrial, automotive, medical, and military applications.We are current looking for aSenior Staff Verification Engineerto join our growing team in Cork, Ireland, that is involved in development of integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems.In this position, the successful candidate will work with an experienced team and be exposed to the entire product lifecycle.This is an important role full of possibility to architect and develop an end-to-end verification solution, spanning the product lifecycle from definition and requirements through IC design, hardware emulation and silicon support.At Vishay our vision is one of a unified verification paradigm for full system verification.This includes simultaneous verification of HW, FW and SW components that make up a product offering.We are seeking a verification expert with the appetite to join us on this journey.This is a senior role with the opportunity to create real impact within the organization and build a promising career.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and development of a unified verification architecture for Vishay power products.Design and specification of testbench and verification IPConstruction of testbench environments to align with unified verification strategy.Creation of full-system test-plans with an emphasis on test-case portability through the product lifecycle.Responsibility for product verification planning, execution, status and coverage.Maintenance of engineering documents in accordance with quality processes.Structured tracking and implementation of design improvements.Compliance with any requirements set out by product safety manager.Usage of continuous integration tools for test-case integration and automation.Support for test-engineering, product engineering and operations as well as participation in ATE data reviews, limit reviews and device yield analysis.ExperienceSuccessful candidates will have most of the following:PhD, post-graduate or degree qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar.10+ years' experience as verification engineer in ASIC/SOC environments.Experience of full-product verification flows, including HW, SW, FW etc.Experience of IC verification and methodologies for automotive marketsKnowledge of ISO26262.Detailed knowledge of OVM/UVM methodologyKnowledge of Verilog, System Verilog and Verilog A-MSExperience with verification of embedded processor systems.Experience and knowledge of power conversion.Experience with Cadence EDA tools.Self-motivated, individual contributor with strong problem solving skills.Experience of working in wide-ranging roles and flexible environments.Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.The ability to work with cross-functional teams.The ability to support and mentor less experienced team membersWe offerVishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.With us, you'll experience unique career paths, an open and collaborative culture, a stable business environment, and opportunities to work globally and locally.Job detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and DesignIndustries: Semiconductor Manufacturing and Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
