About Us:The Pantry Café at Bray is a vibrant and welcoming eatery going to open in weeks.We are known for its high-quality homemade food, exceptional service, and warm atmosphere.We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team and help deliver delicious, freshly prepared meals to our valued customers.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and baked goods, in accordance with our menu and quality standards.Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and high presentation standards.Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and reducing food waste.Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen.Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.Assist in menu development and introduce new dishes as needed.Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.Requirements:Proven experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment, preferably in a café or restaurant setting.Passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays as required.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexitimeWork Location: In person
