Transport Planner - Co Meath Our client, a leading transport company with a large, modern fleet of trucks and trailers is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Transport planner to join their team. Supportive onboarding and induction process Key Responsibilities: Schedule and monitor client job orders efficiently using their transport management software. Coordinate and organise loads and routes with the transportation team and drivers. Plan and consolidate routes to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries. Liaise with drivers to ensure jobs align with client requirements and expectations. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on collection and delivery times. Perform routine administrative and general office duties to support daily operations. The Ideal Candidate: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make clear decisions and manage multiple tasks in a team or independently. A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to present information clearly and effectively. Proficiency in computer skills is essential. Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory-we value a willingness to learn and grow. Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
