I am currently working with a medium sized Chartered Accountants firm in Cork.
Due to continuous expansion, they require a Trainee Accountant who wants to pursue a career within a professional body.
You will gain exposure to various industries and a variety of clients within a professional practice and will establish yourself as an expert within the industry.
On top of that, you will work very closely with management and partners and will be trained to a very high standard.
Responsibilities Bookkeeping, Preparation of Vat returnsPreparation of Sole Traders financial statementsPreparation of Income Tax Returns and of relevant Contracts Tax returnsPreparation of Management AccountsPreparation of Audit exempt financial statements & assisting on Audit AssignmentsPreparation of Corporation Tax ReturnsPreparation of Company Secretarial ReturnsAd hoc accounting and administrative work as requiredIdeal Candidate Degree qualified within Accountancy, Commerce or a relevant field as a minimum.Exam Focused – Willing to do Professional Accountancy exams.Ability to work to tight deadlinesTeam Worker & Career DrivenStrong IT Skills essentialBenefits: Full Exam/Educational support providedExcellent Career ProgressionOpportunity to work within a wide industry spectrum and gain valuable experience with SME'sIf you are a Trainee Accountant contemplating a career move, please send your CV or reach out to Rion Gallagher for a confidential discussion.
