As the
Site Lead for Compliance Operations (CX)
, you'll oversee operations for key compliance workflows like:
Transaction Monitoring
Retail Screening
Your mission: deliver
world-class customer support
and lead a high-performing team through complex regulatory demands in a
high-growth, fast-paced
environment.
Deliver and scale Coinbase's
AML/Financial Crime compliance operations
Lead a team of managers and experienced professionals
Drive excellence in KPIs: quality, productivity, efficiency
Oversee
internal audits
, executive escalations, and 2nd Line of Defense reviews
Identify and implement
process optimization
and automation
Ensure cross-functional collaboration (e.g., Risk, Legal, Product)
Set and uphold high standards for
talent selection, coaching, and retention
Champion compliance integrity while improving customer experience
What They're Looking For
10+ years
of AML or Financial Crime compliance experience
Deep knowledge of
banking regulations
, payments, and operational compliance
Proven
people leadership
experience and talent development track record
Strong
process improvement
and problem-solving mindset
Hands-on experience with
audits, controls, and regulatory reporting
Expertise in compliance workflows: EDD, TM, KYC, sanctions screening
Skilled in
cross-functional stakeholder influence
and communication
Fluent in English and motivated by Coinbase's mission
ACAMS
or other relevant certifications
Experience with tools like:
Salesforce Service Cloud

JIRA

Looker Dashboards

Google Workspace
Project management and analytics experience
Advanced degree or training in
Compliance, Risk, or Business
