aDirectorwho will join our Risk and Regulatory Consulting team in Dublin.We are specifically interested in hearing from experienced Credit Risk professionals with strong skills in Governance , Risk and Compliance working in financial services sector or another professional services firm who have previously held leadership roles and have an interest in a Consulting role in KPMG.We ideally need you to have the following skills / experience:A minimum of 8 years' experience with 1+ years at Director level, or equivalent in credit risk managementA strong background in Retail and Corporate Credit Risk across asset classes and sectorsA recognised qualification in relation to Risk Management and deep experience of regulatory requirements for credit risk including Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and EBA Loan Origination and Monitoring Guidelines.A broad range of knowledge and understanding on wider commercial, business and economic issuesProven track record in creating and deepening client relationships, identifying opportunities and creating solutionsExperience in leading complex projects and developing teams, with high quality delivery in tight timescalesExcellent interpersonal skills, drive, enthusiasm and commitmentExperienced in Client-facing roles and in engaging with senior stakeholders in organisationsA solid understanding of model development, implementation, maintenance and related frameworksYour work will be varied.Below will be some of your core responsibilities:Lead engagements to deepen relationships, reputation and added value in approachesUnderstand credit risk issues and challenges and propose solutions including approaches, structures and planning with appropriate consideration of regulatory expectations.Peer comparisons risk, time and costsManage a portfolio of clients and lead the delivery of high-quality consulting advice and service to those clientsAccountable for leading large-scale Regulatory Consulting or Assurance initiatives or programmes of work in credit risk areas, at times within a multidisciplined teamOwnership and accountability for achieving performance based targetsIdentify opportunities for innovation and assume responsibility for building the case, mobilising the team and achieving targeted outcomesSupport future strategy and business development, including preparation of thought leadership, client proposals and materials and building technical knowledge across the teamDrive adherence to standards supporting effective and quality deliveryBuild, develop and motivate high performing teams offering the required level of personal and professional counselling support and feedbackDefine effective ways of working and drive collaboration across empowered teamsKPMG's Risk &
