Job Title: Operations/Maintenance Operative - Motor Racing CircuitOverview: As an Operations/Maintenance Operative at our motor racing circuit, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and upkeep of the facility, ensuring it remains in optimal condition for racing events.This role requires proficiency in operating machinery and performing general building maintenance tasks to support the smooth functioning of the circuit.Key Responsibilities:Machinery Operation: Safely operate a variety of machinery and equipment used for track maintenance, such as mowers, tractors, and power tools.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure it remains in proper working condition.Track Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the racing track, including repairing surface imperfections, painting lines, and ensuring track barriers are secure.Coordinate with the operations team to schedule track closures for maintenance activities.General Building Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings and facilities within the circuit, identifying any maintenance needs such as repairs, painting, or equipment upgrades.Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to address issues promptly and maintain a safe environment.Groundskeeping: Maintain the landscaping and grounds surrounding the racing circuit, including mowing grass, trimming hedges, and clearing debris.Ensure the exterior areas of the facility are well-maintained and presentable for visitors and events.Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and tools used for circuit operations and maintenance.Keep an organized inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.Report any safety hazards or concerns to the operations manager and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.Skills and Qualifications:Machinery Operation: Proficiency in operating a variety of machinery and equipment commonly used in track maintenance and building upkeep.General Maintenance: Experience performing general building maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and painting.Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and develop effective solutions to address them in a timely manner.Physical Fitness: Capable of performing tasks that require physical strength and endurance, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail when performing maintenance tasks to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other team members and departments to accomplish maintenance goals and support racing events.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar role within the motorsports industry or facilities maintenance.Familiarity with track maintenance procedures and equipment.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Join our team and contribute to the success of our motor racing circuit by maintaining a safe and functional environment for thrilling racing eventsJob Type: Full-timePay: €30,******-€37,****** per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee discountOn-site parkingSick payExperience:Building maintenance: 3 years (preferred)Machine operation: 3 years (preferred)Language:Engligh (required)Licence/Certification:Drivers license (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
