Job Description Your responsibilities will include: Organise and execute HV switching, isolation, earthing, and issue of safety documentation for customer HV networks up to 33kV. Ensure, so far as is reasonable and practicable, that all personnel observe and comply with relevant Safe Systems of Work Evaluate, review, appoint and maintain a register of skilled/competent persons (including records of training and areas of responsibilities. Ability to carry out Investigations with respect to near misses, incidents, and accidents. Assist with and coordinate on-site teams and sub-contractors, ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required standards. Allocate work and ensure completion in accordance with the project schedule and Cx Plan Adhere to all Statutory Standards and Regulations Assist teams with resolving matters arising. Maintain effective health and safety systems, including completion of risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, etc. Complete project documentation and reports accurately and concisely. Identify corrective actions and implementation of countermeasures to maximise productivity. Liaise with client managers daily and have a voice in project meetings. Skills and Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Ability to use own initiative with a hands-on approach. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork skills, attention to detail and work ethic. Authorised as AP able to work on 33kV. Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment. Excellent knowledge of Distribution Safety rules and their application. Excellent H&S Knowledge and Standards Safe Pass - CCNSG/CSCS or equivalent The ability to demonstrate a pragmatic and 'common sense' approach to problem solving.
