Base pay range Associate Director – Civil & Environmental Engineering A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Director – Civil & Environmental Engineering to join its growing infrastructure and environmental team .
This senior leadership role is ideal for candidates with 15+ years of experience , offering the opportunity to oversee major infrastructure projects in areas such as waste management, urban development, and renewable energy .
Key Responsibilities: Lead civil and environmental engineering teams , ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities , supporting company growth.
Oversee design management, project planning, and preparation of technical reports .
Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement .
Mentor and supervise senior and junior engineers .
Ensure compliance with quality assurance, health & safety, and regulatory requirements .
Skills & Experience: Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline) .
Chartered Engineer status .
A minimum of 15 years' experience in design and project management.
Strong background in multi-disciplinary design management and business development .
Experience in budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and oral hearings is an advantage.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills .
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment .
Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings .
