As an engineer at Qualcomm, you will define, model, design, optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP development for high-performance, high-quality, low-power products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine product execution paths.
Position Overview This role involves Graphics Functional Design Verification, including:
Collaborating with GPU Design and Architecture Teams to understand concepts and requirements Developing detailed Test and Coverage plans based on Architecture and Micro-architecture Developing Verification Methodology, ensuring scalability and portability Creating Verification environment components: Stimulus, Checkers, Assertions, Trackers, Coverage Developing Verification Plans and Testbenches Executing Verification Plans, Debugging, and Reporting progress Developing UVM tests and analyzing new GPU features Developing and deploying verification methodologies Skills and Experience 5+ years ASIC Design Verification or related experience Proficiency in Test planning, Scripting (Perl & Python), Simulation, Debugging System Verilog, UVM, Verilog or VHDL, C/C++ skills Experience with Constrained random, Functional Coverage, debugging Desirable Skills RTL design and SoC architecture experience Verification architectures, GPU architectures, version control systems, issue tracking, HW-SW co-verification, Formal verification Location Cork, Ireland — a vibrant city with a diverse community, excellent quality of life, and good international connectivity.
