Overview Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician ready to take your career to the next level?
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading high-volume food production company based in the County Galway / Midlands region.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering competitive pay rates of €23-€26 per hour, plus a 17% shift allowance for early and late shifts.
Responsibilities Carry out preventative and condition-based maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Perform electro-mechanical repairs on advanced plant equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to meet production targets.
Collaborate with suppliers to explore innovative equipment solutions.
Maintain a safe, organized workshop and adhere to industry-leading safety protocols.
Ensure timely completion of planned work and efficient parts management.
Criteria Qualified Mechanical Technician (Fitter) or Electrician.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills.
Solid understanding of quality, health, and safety standards.
Reward Hourly rate: €23-€26 + 17% shift premium Annual earnings: €53 K-€63 K (including shift allowance) Overtime rates: 1.5x and 2x depending on hours worked Additional benefits include: Bike to work scheme, company pension, employee assistance program, staff discounts, on-site parking, regular company events Ready to Apply?
