OverviewFreelance Technical WriterBárd is a leading, award-winning company that facilitates meaningful connections between businesses and their audiences.Our team of experts combines technical expertise with creative storytelling to demystify complex topics and empower audiences.About the RoleOur client, a multinational software corporation, is a leading provider of software solutions, and serves various industries and business functions.We're looking for experienced and proactivetechnical writersto join their documentation team on an ad-hoc basis as contractors.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, familiarity with DITA authoring tools, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality documentation for software products.The position is project-based and dependent on workload fluctuations, offering flexibility in scheduling and workload ideal for a freelancer.We'll create a panel of contractors to support various projects and initiatives within our client company.LocationLocation: 100% remotePosition TypePosition Type: Contract/FreelanceDurationDuration: Per project, as requiredWhat we're looking forExperienced technical writer familiar with DITA authoring tools and documentation delivery processPrevious experience working at SAPPassed the SAP technical writing test(or willing to sit the online test to qualify for the panel)Excellent writing skillsProactive, with experience of working in documentation teams and regularly communicating status to the Documentation Lead and colleaguesExperience in following style guides and using templates3+ years as a technical writerExperience of writing software documentation including in-app help, user guides, configuration guides, and administration guidesPreferably:Experience of IXIA CCMSExperience of Jira and GitHubExperience of collaborating with user experience designersExperience of creating simple graphicsJoin our teamJoin a team where excellence meets opportunity.You\'ll be part of a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, growth, and excellence.If you're looking for a work arrangement that provides flexibility, variety, and opportunities for growth we want to hear from you#J-*****-Ljbffr
