Company Profile:Ocuco Limited is a leading software solutions provider in the eyecare industry, dedicated to helping eyecare professionals streamline their operations and provide exceptional patient care.With a global presence and a focus on innovation, Ocuco has built a reputation for delivering cutting-edge technology and outstanding customer service.Job Description:Ocuco is seeking an experienced and talented Data Conversion Engineer to join our global Data team based at the HQ in Dublin 15.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer, eager to further their skills and continue their professional development as Ocuco continues to grow in the industry.Responsibilities:Continuous refinement of skills and knowledge of Oracle and Azure SQL database schemas and data structuresDevelop programs and processes to analyse data from a variety of ever changing sources, map to staging areas and load into target databaseDebug data integrity issuesReview and apply data fixes as necessaryReview, maintain, and develop processes to distribute master dataDocument processes and proceduresThe successful candidate must have:A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline5+ years of experience working in an IT development team5+ years of experience writing advanced Oracle PL/SQL programs in a development capacity3 + years of experience performing data conversion activities from disparate sourcesExcellent knowledge of SQL and PL/SQLAbility to translate requirements into solutions using PL/SQL and scriptingBulk data transfer methodsStrong written and verbal skillsThe Ideal candidate will also have previous experience with:T-SQLAzure Data Factory (ADF)Data BricksPythonSQL optimizationData ModellingOracle RDBMSAzure SQL (PaaS)TDD and Agile methodologyDevOps processes for databasesAzure Synapse and Cosmos DB#J-*****-Ljbffr
