Construction Technical Bid Writer

Role OverviewAs a Technical Bid Writer, you will play a critical role in securing high-value construction contracts by producing compelling, technically accurate bid submissions.You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate complex project information into clear, persuasive proposals aligned with client expectations and procurement frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse tender documents and client specifications to understand project requirements.Develop and write high-quality technical content for bids, proposals, and pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs).Collaborate with engineers, estimators, planners, and project managers to gather technical input.Ensure all submissions are compliant with client instructions, procurement regulations, and internal standards.Maintain and update a library of reusable content, case studies, and templates.Conduct post-submission reviews to identify areas for improvement.Support the bid team in preparing presentations and client engagement materials.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in bid writing or technical writing within the construction or engineering sector.Strong understanding of construction methodologies, terminology, and project lifecycle.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management tools.Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Communications, or a related field (preferred).Familiarity with Irish public and private sector procurement processes.APMP or similar bid/proposal management certification.Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.Experience with BIM, sustainability, or digital construction tools is a plus.Why Join Us?Work with a leading Tier 2 contractor on landmark projects across Ireland.Competitive salary and benefits.Career development and training opportunities.Collaborative and innovative work environment.For more information on this position please call Allan Daly on 0863889426 or apply online and a member of the Ward Personnel team will be in touch.#J-18808-Ljbffr
