Job Description: Corporate Apps & E-commerce Developer Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Corporate Apps & E-commerce Developer to join our growing team. This role will focus on developing, enhancing, and maintaining our internal ERP system and its linked services. You will also be responsible for creating middleware to connect our ERP with our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless exchange of data. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to the front-end development of our e-commerce platform in Angular, though this is not required. Although this is a hybrid role you will be required to work two days per week at the office in Ballymote, Co. Sligo Key Responsibilities: ERP Development & Maintenance: Develop, enhance, and maintain modules within our internal ERP system using .NET technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the ERP and related services. Optimize and document business processes as they relate to the ERP system. Middleware Development & Integration: Design, build, and implement middleware to integrate our ERP with the e-commerce platform. Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems, optimizing performance and scalability. Collaborate closely with internal teams to gather and understand data flows and requirements to improve integrations. (Preferred) E-commerce Platform Support: Contribute to the front-end development of our e-commerce platform using Angular. Ensure a seamless user experience that integrates effectively with backend services and the ERP system. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET. Strong knowledge of MSSQL for database development, queries, and optimization. Experience with middleware concepts, APIs, and integration techniques. Familiarity with ERP systems and their data structures. Basic understanding of Angular (a plus) for potential front-end development. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and within a team. Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Experience: Must have some developer experience, coop/student roles are fine if recent. Experience with business requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or custom solutions. Knowledge of RESTful API design, SOAP, and other web services for data exchange. Experience in working with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar. SQL and database management expertise, including database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
