Catering Manager

Rockwell College is recruiting a Head Chef for the boarding and day boarding school, serving two meals daily to 500 pupils plus staff and providing all meals to boarders on a seven-day basis. The role requires a 45 hour week, generally on a five-day basis but weekend availability will be required at times. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successful menu design and planning, stock management, staff management and food management & safety; will be HACCP compliant and will be a qualified and experienced chef. The role is operational on a 12 month basis i.e. to include the school year, the summer programme and any additional services that may be required during periods of standard school closure. Interviews will take place on the week of January 13th 2025 and the role commences on Feb. 24th 2025. College management reserves the right to require a practical interview subsequent to the initial face-to-face interview if deemed appropriate.
