Title:QC Compliance TechnicianLocation:PEM GalwayStatus:Fulltime Permanent / Day ShiftDepartment:QualityReport to:Quality ManagerJob SummaryTo define and conduct Quality control and Quality compliance activities within the PEM Europe business including process and end of line product testing, new product validation testing, MSA, and Quality control in production as required.Reporting to the Senior QA Engineer – Design & ComplianceJob Duties1) Conduct validation activities, sampling testing and CAPA associated with:a. Product Development / Improvementb. Manufacturing process development / changesc. Corrective Actionsd. Customer Specific Requirements2) Create and submit quality conformity documentation to customers3) Ensure compliance with IATF-***** & ISO **** requirements, conduct internal audits of the QMS4) Conduct MSA activities as required for all IMTE on site5) Conduct lab performance testing in support of business needs6) Manage the issuing and completion of NCRs using EQMS7) Provide guidance on quality procedures to operations and design teams8) Assist all departments with additional testing when required9) Lead and support continual improvement projects/activities10) Perform other duties as may be assigned.Qualifications¨ Experience in a similar manufacturing or quality environment would be a strong advantage.¨ Minimum Level 6 qualification in an Engineering, Science, or Quality discipline is required.¨ Good mathematical and communication skills are necessary.¨ Computer skills are required, particularly the ability to use spreadsheets and databases.¨ Ability to work on projects with personnel at all levels of the organisation¨ Certification for IATF***** internal auditor training would be an advantage¨ Certification in AIAG Core tools would be an advantageOther Requirements¨ Ability to learn and communicate new methodologies.¨ Ability to use standard mechanical inspection instrument¨ A high level of flexibility is required¨ Candidates must be enthusiastic, pro-active in their approach, and able to take the initiative
