Early Years EducatorFull Time and Part TimeImmediate StartThe ideal candidates will be fun, caring, enthusiastic, and demonstrate a good understanding of children's needs.They must work well as part of a team and demonstrate commitment to promoting the well being of children.Candidate Requirements and Duties:Preferably the candidate will have QQI Level 8 Early Years Education / Early Childhood Studies although we will consider QQI level 5/6 - must be on DCEDIY approved list or you must hold the DCEDIY letter to say your qualifications have been approvedThe ideal candidate:Will be a team player but also able to use their own initiative,Understand each child learns at their own paceWill create positive interactions with he childrenCan bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.Communicate well with their teamWork in partnership with parentsEnsuring the children have good hygieneCleaning interactive areas throughout the dayOrganising activities and developing curriculum for older childrenDeveloping a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the dayKeeping records of each child's progress, interests and any problems that may occurThey should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of Child development, Pre school regulations and Aistear and Siolta.Working with children aged 1-5 years oldFAR and manual handling are an advantageSubject to Garda Vetting, Police vetting and reference checks - 2 written references requiredApplicants who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months MUST hold Police vetting from any other country that they have lived inMust be currently living in Ireland or the E.U. and able to move to Ireland from the E.U. asap and have all qualification checks completed by the DCEDIY and have work permits and current police vetting from other countries if applicable.Applicants from outside E.U. unfortuanately cannot be considered due to the length of time it takes for police vetting, qualification checks by DCEDIY, work permit and visa approval as this position needs to be filled within the next couple of weeks.Applicants who's qualifications are not on the approved DCEDIY list or who have not already got their qualifications approved by the DCEDIY and have a letter stating they are approved will not be accepted.Must be flexibleJob Types: Full-time, Fixed termContract length: 12 monthsPay: €*****-€***** per hour depending on qualification levelSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:QQI Level 8 Early Years EducationWork Location: In personApplication deadline: ASAPExpected start date: Immediate startJob Type: Full-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:On-site parkingApplication question(s):Do you have an Early Years Education qualification?Do you hold the relevant Early Years Education qualifications recognised by the DECEIDY or a letter from the DECEIDY stating your qualifications are recognised?Education:Bachelor's (required)Language:English (required)Work Location: In person
