Senior Azure Engineer – Dublin

Job DescriptionWe are exclusively representing a fast-growing Dublin-based Microsoft Partner & MSP seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to lead Azure management, cloud migrations, and advanced infrastructure projects for their diverse client base.This is a hands-on senior engineering role with significant project delivery and client-facing responsibility — perfect for an Azure expert who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end.What You'll DoAzure Delivery & Management:Design, build, and optimise Azure environments, including hybrid setups and cloud migrations.Implement advanced services: identity & access management, governance, automation, and cost optimisation.Deliver secure environments using MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, and Sentinel.Project Ownership:Lead client onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and migrations from scoping through go-live.Act as a technical consultant, producing clear roadmaps and solution recommendations.Infrastructure & Networking:Perform server builds and virtualisation projects (Hyper-V/VMware).
Configure networking (VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi deployments).
Manage firewalls and edge security solutions.Escalation & MSP Operations:Provide Tier 3 escalation support and guidance to the service desk.Maintain documentation, standards, and improve MSP tooling/processes.RequirementsAbout You5+ years' experience working with an MSP or IT services provider as a Senior Azure or Level 3 Technical Support Engineer.
Expert-level knowledge of Azure design, migrations, and operations.Strong background in infrastructure projects, networking, and security.Skilled in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and firewall management.Excellent troubleshooting ability and client-facing communication skills.Confident leading projects from scoping to successful delivery.Bonus points if you hold:Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / Azure AdministratorMicrosoft Security, Compliance & Identity certificationsCompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA/CCNPBenefitsExcellent salary and benefits.
