Nox Hotel is currently welcoming applications from candidates for the role of Duty Manager.The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people and working in a busy hotel environment covering such areas as private events, restaurant, bars, reception and rooms.The Duty Manager will ensure the smooth day to day operation of the Hotel while on duty and ensure that a consistently high standard and quality of service exists at all times.You will ensure that a quality product and customer care is delivered at all times.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate with a great work/balanceResponsibilities IncludeCoordinate the operation of the Hotel during scheduled shiftsManage and motivate staff, upholding a constant level of staff productivityOngoing staff training in coffee, wine and food itemsRespond to customer queries and complaintsHigh standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safetyDeliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfactionAppraise personnels performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productiveControl costs and minimise wasteNurture a positive working environment and lead by exampleComply with all company policies and proceduresApplicant RequirementsMinimum 2-3 yrs experience as a manager in a relevant 3-4 star property essentialBe a hands-on, natural leader who enjoys leading from the frontPassion for quality food & drinkStrong communicator with a high level of initiativeMust be available to work afternoons, evenings and weekendsLevel-headed/sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliableAbility to work flexibly under pressure with a good sense of humourApproachable with excellent people skillsSuperior customer service skillsStrong understanding of business managementAbility to effectively delegate responsibilities and maximise resourcesBenefitsMeals included on siteDiscounts available across the Hotels facility'sBike to work schemeSkillsHotel Operations Hospitality Management Beverage Management
