Contract Type: Full-Time- PermanentSalary: CompetitiveWorking Hours: 40Location: Munster/LeinsterDivision: Power__________________________________________________________________Your New RoleWe are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our Power Division.The Project Manager will be responsible for delivery of multiple Electrical projects to include Substations and MV Underground works on behalf of ESBN (38KV -400kV ).They will be responsible for managing multiple projects, supported by the Framework Manager, Site managers, Site supervisors and the Project Team.The ideal candidate must have experience in delivering large scale Medium Voltage / High Voltage (MV/HV) projects particularly in Sub-Stations.The candidate must be capable of managing multiple teams, delivering projects to a high degree of quality, safety and within budget and programme constraints.This position requires that the individual be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment, as well as possess excellent problem-solving, organisational and communication skills coupled with a high level of professionalism representing Mainline Power.The role will also require the candidate to travel between sites in the Munster/Leinster region.Key ResponsibilitiesProject management and supervision of (simultaneous) electrical projects to specific budget and time constraints.Ensure the Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual and safety requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same.Manage Project Costings and assist with project finance reporting.Review Sub-contractors costs and claims.Daily and weekly progress reports on works completed.Chair and attend regular meetings internally and with the Client.Identify issues and risks at the earliest opportunity and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.Scheduling and programming of workload, equipment and resources.While Microsoft Project skills are not specifically required they would be an advantage.Liaise with the SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment Quality) on all project SHEQ matters.Support Business Development, through tendering and business networking.Ensure our core Customer Care principles are adhered to.Qualifications, Skills, Attributes And ExperienceExperience working on multi discipline projects.A Degree in electrical engineering or management, whilst not essential would be a distinct advantage.Minimum 5 years previous experience with MV/HV is preferred, ideally with hands-on (tools) sub-station experience, and subsequent management experience.Strong technical (MV/HV) experience particularly in 33KV Stations and above.Excellent Commercial knowledge and understanding.Must have excellent English both spoken and Written and be a good communicator.Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including diagnostic skills.Clear and appropriate goal setting, focused on targets; demonstrating enthusiasm and drive to consistently deliver quality in performance.Ability to motivate and encourage others whilst taking the lead.At Mainline we are growing a significant business, and accordingly this position presents a great opportunity for the right candidate, as we are looking for someone who will become part of our team and support the continued growth and development of the business.Package:Mainline is committed to its employees and offers many benefits such as:A competitive SalaryCompany vehicleBonus schemedcareer developmentlearning and development opportunitiesfurther educationpension contributionsAccess to Health Insurance – waiting periods waivedbike to work scheme
