Safety Solutions are seeking a highly motivated Health & Safety Technical Lead to join our team and work full-time with a key client.This role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards at both national and European levels.The successful candidate will support the Design Build Operate (DBO) Transformation Health and Safety strategy, conduct site inspections, audits, and develop action plans for non-compliances.The role is based in the South West (Cork, Kerry, Clare, Limerick) and there will be some travel involved as you get to know the sites.Responsibilities:Support the rolling up of the construction HSQE strategy and the roll-out of Safety Management System nationally.Deliver company-wide health and safety initiatives for continuous improvement.Act as an employee safety support function.Develop action plans to address Health & Safety non-compliances.Gather, analyse, and trend key HSQE performance reports.Support the implementation of the Leadership and Safety Culture Pillar under the Work Safe Home Safe Framework.Provide specialist health and safety advice across business areas.Requirements:Relevant third-level qualification.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in water services, utilities, or a similar industry.Strong people management and conflict resolution skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Full driving license is essential.Benefits:Salary: €58,000 to €63,000Company Pension Scheme with employer contribution.Full access to Web Doctor Service.Life Insurance cover to the value of €100,000.Car allowance and fuel card.Job Type: Full-timePay: From €58,****** per yearBenefits:Company pensionWellness programWork from homeEducation:Bachelor's (required)Experience:utilities: 5 years (required)Licence/Certification:B Driving Licence (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kerry, CO.Clare
