(NASDAQ: ADI) is a global semiconductor leader enabling breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge by combining analog, digital, and software technologies.ADI supports digitized factories, mobility, digital healthcare, climate initiatives, and connected systems.Learn more atThe Team: The Intrinsic Reliability (iRel) Group is responsible for product and process lifetime robustness.The team investigates intrinsic reliability of semiconductor devices, circuits, and sensors, across electronics, physics, and mathematics disciplines.The group is distributed across ADLK (Limerick, Ireland), ADWL (Wilmington, MA), and ADSV (San Jose, CA).The successful candidate will reside in ADLK.The PositionThe position to be filled is Staff Intrinsic Reliability Engineer.The engineer will be responsible for lifetime characterization of novel technologies such as electrochemical metabolite and gas sensors for medical, industrial, and automotive applications through device reliability testing.Main ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Quality and R&D Teams to de-risk ADI's incoming pipeline of next-generation sensors through reliability testing, using industry-standard methods and development of new stress tests and techniques.Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrochemical technology quality within the Global Quality Team.Collaborate with Quality and R&D Teams to identify root cause and corrective actions for failures.Develop statistical lifetime models to evaluate long-term technology robustness.RequirementsDegree in Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Experience in reliability testing, failure analysis, validation, and verification within a product development or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methods and handling experimental data; proficiency in JMP or Minitab is essential.Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for automation or analysis.Ability to design and execute test plans, DOEs, and validation protocols to support product verification and reliability assessments.Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as root cause analysis, FMEA, and corrective/preventive actions; Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above) is desirable.Understanding or background in electrochemistry, sensors, or medical device technology is highly beneficial.Experience in highly regulated sectors (medical devices, pharma, automotive, aerospace) with knowledge of regulatory and quality standards (ISO *****, GMP, FDA requirements).Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge data, assumptions, and methodologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.Note: For positions requiring access to technical data, export licensing review may be required per U.S. regulations.Analog Devices is an equal opportunity employer.We foster a culture where everyone has an opportunity to succeed regardless of race, color, religion, age, ancestry, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, military or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustry: Semiconductor Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
