We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join a well-established nursing home located in Wicklow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and driven nursing professional who is either based in Wicklow or open to relocating.

What Were Looking For: Registered General Nurse with active registration on the NMBI Minimum of 2 years experience in a management role within a nursing home At least 6 years of experience working in a nursing home setting Leadership or management qualification Full eligibility to work in Ireland Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills, with a strong focus on team development and quality care delivery Your Role and Responsibilities: Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing and social care tailored to meet individual resident needs Oversee clinical standards, complete assessments and manage care plans to support optimal outcomes Supervise medication administration, conduct audits and liaise with GPs and pharmacies to maintain high standards and compliance Provide leadership and mentorship to CNMs, nurses and healthcare assistants, supporting continuous training and development Conduct regular clinical, environmental and medication audits and implement actions to promote hygiene, safety and quality of care Serve as a key point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns with empathy and working closely with the multidisciplinary team to enhance the overall resident experience Take the Next Step in Your Career: If youre an experienced and compassionate nurse leader ready to take on a rewarding challenge, wed love to hear from you.
