My client, located in Donegal, is in search of a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and involves overseeing the financial aspects of the AIFM. Responsibilities: Assist in the monthly and quarterly bookkeeping processes for the AIFM Aid in preparing the annual statutory accounts for the AIFM Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements Collaborate with the Tax team to ensure accurate tax reporting Review and support VAT returns Monitor cash balances, branch results, and group AP/AR functions Coordinate with finance colleagues to ensure adherence to transfer pricing policies Gather finance data from the branch network in Europe Provide support to the local CEO and department/branch heads as needed Requirements: Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience Prior experience in an accounting role Proficiency in technical accounting, particularly in regulatory and statutory reporting Ability to meet tight deadlines Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships across various sectors Excellent presentation and communication abilities Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and adjust priorities accordingly Superior analytical skills and a keen eye for detail At Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.
