This role is based in our concentrate plant in Carrigaline and is a critical component to our manufacturing network.
Operations is at the centre of everything we do, this is where our food and beverages come to life and is the start of the journey to getting our product in the hands of our consumers.

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the testing of incoming bulk raw materials and finished products in compliance with a product specification for Carrigaline.
You will also be required to work closely with micro and sensory teams who are based in our LI concentrate site.
All activities are conducted in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice and safety requirements, while ensuring a positive team environment and a focus on continuous improvement.
ResponsibilitiesComply with Confidentiality PolicyEnsure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of manufactured products in accordance with PepsiCo standards and proceduresBecome familiar with the material/product portfolioRegistering QC samples in the laboratory management systems accuratelyMeticulous attention to sample data entry and preparationPrepare all production, delivery and issue samples in a timely mannerEnsure timely and effective issue resolution and communicationMaintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organised system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on trace-abilityAdhere to safe lab practices and GLP.Adhere to ISO 17025 competency and calibration standardsOrganise the replenishment of relevant laboratory suppliesDevelop and maintain an effective working relationship with process operatorsDevelop and maintain an effective working relationship with Pepsi's Product Development group.Liaise with manufacturing and R&D on the smooth introduction of new products during and after scale-up.A requirement of this role is that all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements are adhered toQualificationsBSc in food science, chemistry or equivalent science-based degree.Understanding of Star-lims, SAP or other quality lab systems preferred but not necessaryKnowledge of ISO 17025 standard.Overview (Secondary Language)For the purposes of external advertising we have called this role QC lab analyst.
