Accommodation Supervisor

The Rose Hotel is a 4 star award winning hotel, located in Tralee, Co Kerry.We have 161 bedrooms, restaurants, bars, meeting room, function room, spa and gymWe are now inviting applications for the role of Accommodation Supervisor.This is a full time role, working 5 days, including weekends and public holidays.Main duties include:To work closely with the Exec Accommodation Manager and Asst Accommodation Mgrs.To prepare daily lists for all accommodation assistants with the allocated number of departure and stayover bedrooms to be servicedTo identify any special instructions to be issued to accommodation assistants in relation to daily cleaning and servicing of bedroomsTo inspect all vacant roomsTo inspect all serviced bedrooms to ensure that they meet the desired standardTo liaise with Front Office and communicate all special requirements to the relevant accommodation assistants and to check that they are in place for guests' arrivalTo report any maintenance issues to the maintenance department and the Executive Accommodation manager in a timely fashion.E-mail or phone maintenance if the room is an arrival or stayover.Log all maintenance issues on the maintenance spreadsheetRead the Passover on a daily basis to see if any issues from previous eveningSign the grooming book on a daily basis in regards to staff presentation & groomingTo inspect public area cleaning on a daily basis to ensure that checklists are being followed and actioned to the agreed standardTo ensure that all traces on rooms are completedEnsure that staff are trained to the standard required by The Rose HotelTo ensure that you abide by our Customer Service policyAlways aiming to exceed guest expectations during their stayHave a professional and friendly mannerTo service bedrooms if necessaryTo ensure the Health & Safety risk assessments are carried outTo ensure that all accidents are reported and further action takenIdeal candidate:Must have previous experience of working in a Hotel environment as a Accommodation Supervisor or Senior Accommodation AssistantAdministrative experience essentialOpera knowledge (hotel reservation system) an advantageMust be well organised, professional and have a good attention to detail traitMust be a team playerMust possess excellent interpersonal skillsMust be able to assist the team if requiredBenefits of working in The Rose HotelProvide with a uniformProvided with a meal on dutyOn site parkingDiscount for use of hotel spaUse of hotel gym at designated timesAll year round employment
