Senior Bartender

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Bar Person to join our Horse Show House team in Ballsbridge.With at least 8 years' experience in the Irish bar trade, the successful candidate will take a leading role in day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service, staff support, and excellent customer care.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp manage and oversee the running of the bar during shifts.Serve drinks to a high standard with speed and accuracySupervise, train, and support junior bar staffHelp your line manager monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage deliveries.Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and HACCP requirementsHandle cash and card transactions responsibly and in line with company policy and procedures.Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionallyContribute to promotions and initiatives to drive salesSupport the Horse Show House management team.RequirementsMinimum 8 years' bar trade experience in Ireland or similar marketStrong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and cellar managementKnowledge of customer booking systems preferable.Excellent communication and team leadership skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in a busy environmentFully Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when your roster requires it.Applicants must have full permission to work in Ireland – Stamp 2 visas are not eligible (role requires over 20 hours per week)CV and References will be required.Fluent English will be required.What We OfferSalary will depend on level of experience.***** hours per week.A supportive team environment in a well-established venue.Job Type: Fixed termContract length: 12 monthsPay: €***** per hourExpected hours: ******* per weekApplication question(s):Where did you gain your 8 years experience in Ireland in the bar trade?(Please do not apply if you don't have this level/years of experience)If you require a visa, What type of visa do you have?(No stamp 2 visas as job requires 30 plus hours per week)What level of English do you have?Work Location: In person
