Commercial Roofing & Maintenance OperativeLocation: Based in Kilmovee, includes travel throughout the countryFull- Time / Permanent PositionHours: Monday–Friday, No WeekendsCompetitive Salary – Varies depending on experienceAbout UsJC Roofing & Building Services Ltd. is a trusted provider of professional roofing and façade services across Ireland.We specialize in roof leak detection, property maintenance, consultancy services and testing and certification works across Ireland, the UK and Europe.Our clients include leading companies in the commercial, pharmaceutical, biotech, data centre and residential sectors.Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing & Maintenance Operative to join our professional team.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of roofing and cladding maintenance and testing tasks across various commercial and industrial properties.You will be part of a two-person team primarily focused on flat roofing projects, including testing and remediation work.The position is based in the Kilmovee area, with regular travel to various other sites as required.A typical workweek generally includes three days working away from home and two days on local assignments.Key Responsibilities· Consult with clients, understand their concerns, and provide expert, solution-focused advice.· Conduct on-site testing, including electronic integrity testing, water testing, building diagnostics, thermal imaging surveys, and drone surveys.· Undertake new build installation quality checks and testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.· Ensure all activities adhere to Health and Safety· Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at all stages of the project.· Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.Candidate Requirements· Full clean driver's licence· Experience in roofing / external building maintenance preferred but not essential.· Fluent in English, both written and spoken· Willingness to travel and work at off-site locations as necessary.· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team· Strong communication and problem-solving skills· High standards of workmanship and professionalism· Computer skills are a bonusSalary & Benefits· Competitive salary (dependent on experience and qualifications)· Company van, tools, and PPE provided· Ongoing training and development· Accommodation & logistics organised· Supportive working environment within a growing businessHow to ApplyIf you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.Please send your CV to:Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company carFree or subsidised travelWork Location: In person
