The Role
Our client is looking for experienced Structural/Civil Engineers to join them in a Design Manager remit to assist on two large-scale projects in a primarily site-based capacity.
You should have significant Residential experience and you will coordinate the Consultant Team and Contractors to ensure all elements are correctly detailed.
You will be tasked with ensuring compliance with Technical Design Dept Processes & Procedures, delivering the project within scope of forecast & budget, and liaising directly with the commercial team in the procurement process.
You will manage and track the design development process, evaluate value engineering propositions, and take ownership of all design team/subcontractor information.
Responsibilities
Coordinate Consultant Team and Contractors to ensure correct detailing
Ensure compliance with Technical Design Department Processes & Procedures
Deliver projects within forecasted scope and budget
Liaise with the commercial team in procurement
Manage and track design development; evaluate value engineering propositions; own design team/subcontractor information
Work primarily on two large-scale projects in a site-based capacity
Bring significant Residential experience to the role
Required Background
Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering
7+ years' experience in the industry
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines within budget
Thorough knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction technology
Strong communication with stakeholders
Proficient IT skills and familiarity with Project Document Management
Self-driven with a can-do mentality and collaborative approach
