Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide expert financial planning services, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of our award-winning firm. You will be responsible for offering strategic financial advice across investments, pensions, life insurance, and estate planning, creating bespoke financial plans and assisting clients towards achieving their financial objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Advisory & Relationship Management:

  • Provide tailored financial planning and advisory services to clients, covering pensions, investments, life insurance, and estate planning.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct financial reviews and risk assessments to recommend suitable financial solutions.
  • Guide clients on tax-efficient investment and retirement strategies.

Business Development & Growth:

  • Identify new business opportunities and grow the client base through referrals and networking.
  • Develop financial strategies that align with clients' short- and long-term financial objectives.
  • Work closely with internal teams to offer holistic financial solutions.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

  • Ensure all financial advice is compliant with the Central Bank of Ireland's regulations and own company policies.
  • Keep up to date with industry changes, market trends, and regulatory updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all client interactions.
  • Support and mentor junior financial advisors within the team.
  • Contribute to training initiatives and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Assist in the development of best practices and client engagement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or a related field.
  • Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) certification is essential; CFP or additional qualifications are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, including pensions, investments, life assurance, and tax planning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in cash flow modelling (Cashcalc/Voyant etc) and CRM systems.
