Chartered Physiotherapist Key Responsibilities Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and post-operative conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities) Provide pre- and post-operative rehabilitation programs Manage an independent caseload, including prioritisation, scheduling, and progression of care Educate patients and carers on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise prescription Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes in compliance with CORU and ISCP standards Communicate with referrers (GPs, surgeons) and multidisciplinary team members when required Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice Uphold a compassionate, patient-centred, empathic approach in all interactions Candidate Requirements Fully Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with ISCP and CORU Irish national (or eligible to work in Ireland) Fluent in English (verbal and written) At least 12 years postgraduate experience in musculoskeletal/private practice, or experience of an outpatient rotation during undergraduate training Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and manual therapy skills Proficiency in exercise prescription, rehabilitation planning, and outcome measurement Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and empathy in patient care Ability to manage independent caseload and administrative responsibilities Desirable Experience in pre-/post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation Additional training or interest in specialisms (e.g. womens health, dry needling, spinal/manual therapy) Experience using digital patient record systems or physiotherapy software Participation in audit, research or quality improvement initiatives What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience (€45,000€60,000) Supportive, collegial work environment Ongoing professional development and mentorship Opportunities to develop special interest areas Access to modern clinic facilities and equipment
