Overview
Electrical Engineer - Ireland, Roscommon - 11 Month Contract
One of the top 10 best companies to work in Ireland is looking for an Electrical Engineer for their large-scale new facility in Roscommon.
This exciting project offers opportunities to learn new technology and develop current skills within a fast-paced €1 billion project.
Responsibilities
To support the engineering requirements through managing & liaising with key project stakeholders (client design team, main contractor, suppliers, sub-contractors, etc.).
Assisting in the execution of projects & providing guidance to ensure we are compliant to all relevant standards/codes and specifications associated.
This will include all site activities associated with validation and handover to the operations team.
Experience in assisting the design of the Electrical systems such as Instrumentation, Low Voltage Distribution, Motor control center's (MCC's), Lighting systems, Generators, UPS and Fire safety and Detection systems.
Key requirements
Requires relevant, extensive experience working in an Electrical Role
Good knowledge of the current electrical power and instrumentation systems
Assist with the design, development, testing and supervision of the manufacture/installation of the electrical equipment
Familiar with Project scheduling tools.
