External Insulation Contractor

Key ResponsibilitiesComplete the full external wall insulation (EWI) process, including:– Surface prep and levelling– EPS or mineral wool board fitting– Beading, meshing, and base coats– Acrylic, silicone, or dash render finishesFollow all system-specific guidelinesExecute all detailing correctly (e.g. window reveals, expansion joints)Ensure snag-free finishes across all stages of workFollow SEAI and NSAI requirements on every installationCooperate with quality inspections and auditsSubmit required documentation (photos, checklists, sign-offs)Ensure all crew have valid Safe Pass and Manual HandlingProvide own PPE, scaffolding/access equipment, and follow site risk assessmentsReport safety incidents, near misses, or hazards promptlyCommunicate clearly with Churchfield Site Supervisors and Project ManagersMinimise disruption when working on occupied homesEnsure your crew presents professionally and keeps a clean siteRespond to feedback, snag lists, or rework requests respectfullySkills and RequirementsProven experience installing EWI systems (min. 2+ years)Familiarity with certified systems and SEAI Codes of PracticeValid Safe Pass and Manual Handling for all team membersYour own tools, transport, PPE, and liability insuranceAbility to complete jobs to a high standard with minimal supervisionStrong communication and a cooperative mindsetChurchfield Expectations for ContractorsConsistently snag-free work completed on scheduleAdherence to SEAI documentation and quality protocolsProfessional conduct on live, occupied sitesTimely updates on material needs or site issuesFull readiness for audits, supervisor spot checks, or client feedbackLocation: Based in Mayo with occasional need to travel throughout ConnachtCompany and Team Culture:At Churchfield Home Services, we are dedicated to providing sustainable energy solutions that help homeowners achieve energy efficiency while supporting Ireland's green energy goals.Our team works on innovative projects such as solar panel installations, heat pumps, and mechanical ventilation systems.We pride ourselves on our values of integrity, excellence, and sustainability, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.Engagement TermsThis is a contractor role, with projects, location, and project rates agreed separately per job.Ongoing engagement depends on performance, audit outcomes, availability, and compliance with Churchfield Home Services' standards.Contractors may be invited to take on additional retrofit projects (e.g. attic insulation) if suitably qualified.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
