Overview
Head of Maintenance at Talbot Hotel Stillorgan.
Role overview: oversee installation, repair and upkeep operations for the Hotel, Gym and Car Park; implement a cost-effective, energy-efficient and preventative maintenance plan; ensure a safe working environment for all employees; maintain a high standard of repair throughout the building and its environs.
Responsibilities
Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in safe working order.
Manage maintenance schedules and budgets.
Ensure faults are promptly and efficiently dealt with by a competent registered contractor.
Liaise with the General Manager to prioritise daily maintenance work.
Run a preventive maintenance program to minimise service issues in the long term.
Ensure all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
Be responsible for all internal and external maintenance of the Hotel, Gym and Car Park.
Deal with internal and external queries in a professional and friendly manner.
Record daily maintenance activities and operate an efficient repairs reporting system.
Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain a high standard of service and attention to detail within the Hotel and its environs.
Adhere to all Fire, Safety and Hygiene regulations and comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005.
Work according to the principles laid down in the Hotel's Safety Statement.
Attend required training programs and carry out reasonable requests from Management.
