Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team in Galway.
This role will primarily support the repairs and spares side of the business, ensuring high-quality tooling solutions for our customers.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
debug of a multi cavity injection mold tools,
surface grinding, and assembly work.
Some strong communication skills a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Manufacture, modify, and repair precision tools, jigs, and fixtures.
·
Support welding, surface grinding, and operations as required.
·
Assemble and fit mechanical components with high precision.
·
Assist in the maintenance and repair of tooling to ensure minimal downtime.
·
Work closely with the team to support the repairs and spares division.
·
Provide technical support and guidance to customers when needed.
·
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
·
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
·
Qualification in Toolmaking, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
·
Proven experience in a toolmaking or precision engineering environment.
·
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
·
Experience in tool repair and maintenance is highly desirable.
·
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·
Strong communication skills for occasional customer interactions.
·
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
