Reperio is partnering with a leading consultancy to support a major government initiative.
They're looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join the team on a long-term contract.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to full stack development on scalable, secure applications
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setting
Support the adoption of modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, TDD, and trunk-based development
Help shape microservice architecture and deployment pipelines
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
Requirements:
10+ years' experience as a
full stack developer
Strong
Java
expertise, including frameworks like
Spring, Spark, and Javalin
Microservices architecture and
REST APIs
Experience with
Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS)
Frontend experience with
React and/or Vue
Familiarity with integration patterns (
API Gateway, BFF, Event Streaming
)
Knowledge of
data persistence, database technologies, and service mesh
Strong communication skills and team collaboration in agile environments
Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland without restriction.
