Job DescriptionPosition: Deputy Senior (Social Care / Children's Services)Purpose of Position: To ensure the effective management of the day-to- day running of the center making certain that all children attending receive optimal care at all times, with a focus on a safe and secure environment delivered through a structured, fun, well balanced program.Qualifications and Qualities required:Minimum Level 7 to Level 8 Degree in Social CareDevelop Care Plans and Risk Assessment for all clients within the serviceDevelop and plan activities that incorporate programs outlying aims, objective and goals into their daily routineMust have Full B Licence as driving company vehicles is required for the roleProvide a warm and caring and safe atmosphere for participantsLead a team of up to 20 staff membersCarry out supervision with Respite Centre staffExperience of working in a supervisory or management capacity is considered an advantageAbility to work as a team member and demonstrate leadership skillsAbility to work on own initiative, using judgment and common senseExcellent Communicator with a good standard of English and written languageIT literateManage center budgetManage and Maintain all center filesDynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a commitment to delivering high quality careCurrent or previous experience in working with children delivering safe and stimulating playExperience working with children in the 4-17 year age group is considered an advantagePassionate, creative, friendly and approachable in personalityWe offer our staff:Competitive hourly rateContinuous training and development – career developmentGreat staff to child ratio where quality, safety and fun is at the heart of all that we doThe opportunity to be part of our Respite Centre team where employee engagement and job satisfaction is of utmost importance to usA fun, caring, professional and progressive careerJob Type: Full-timeLicence/Certification:Full B Licence (required)Work Location: In person
