As a *Deli Assistant* your role includes serving deli food to customers and helping them with product choices and suggestions._\*To fulfil the requirements for the position of Deli Assistant, we seek candidates with prior experience in Deli or other Fresh Food Retail._

*To be considered for this role, here are the skills we’re looking for:*
* *Minimum 3 months experience* in Deli or other Fresh Food Retail is required
* *Conversational English* Language level is essential
* Proficiency in one of the *Eastern European languages* (e.g.: Romanian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Croatian, etc.)
* *Food Retail* experience is preferred

*Main duties of a retail Deli assistant typically include, but not limited:*
* Preparing and serving deli food products such as raw meat, sausages, fish, cheese, etc.
* Assisting customers with their deli orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli area, including cleaning equipment, counters, and display cases.
* Monitoring and rotating stock to ensure freshness and prevent waste.
* Adhering to food safety regulations and following proper food handling procedures at all times.
* Performing heavy lifting tasks, such as moving crates of stock or large food items, as required for stocking and organisation.
