Interim Procurement Leadership Opportunities – WSP (Supporting the MetroLink Programme, Dublin)Day Rate:€550–€715/day (Inside IR35)Location:Dublin (3 days onsite) – all travel & accommodation expenses coveredContract Length:6–12 monthsAbout the ProgrammeWSP are providing commercial and procurement leadership support toTransport Infrastructure Ireland (TII)on the delivery ofMetroLink Dublin— Ireland's largest transport infrastructure project and one of Europe's most complex public capital programmes.As part of this, we are seeking two experienced interim procurement professionals to join theCommercial Directorateand play pivotal roles in shaping and delivering procurement strategy across the programme.Procurement Lead – M400 (Major Infrastructure Contracts)Overview:TheProcurement Lead (M400)will take ownership of the procurement strategy and execution for theM400 major civils and infrastructure contractswithin the MetroLink programme.This is a senior appointment requiring extensive experience leading complex public sector procurements under EU Directives and Irish National Regulations — ideally in rail, civils, or large-scale capital delivery environments.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end procurement of the M400 infrastructure contracts, from strategy to contract award.Develop procurement management plans, tender documentation, and contract requirements in collaboration with engineering and legal teams.Manage and mentor the M400 procurement team, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and commercial robustness.Oversee tender evaluation strategies, clarification processes, and assurance activities.Advise on contract risk, NEC terms, and mitigation planning.Support the Commercial Director in reporting and procurement governance reviews.Key Requirements:15+ years' experience within major capital programmes or infrastructure procurement.Strong knowledge of EU and Irish procurement regulations (S.I. ********).Proven experience procuring under NEC or similar standard forms.Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes across client and consultancy environments.Professional accreditation preferred (CIPS, RICS, ICE, or equivalent).General Procurement Lead – MetroLink DirectorateOverview:TheGeneral Procurement Leadwill oversee allnon-construction procurement and contract administrationacross the MetroLink directorate — ensuring governance, compliance, and best value for the programme's operational and professional services.This role acts as the main interface betweenMetroLink General ProcurementandTII Corporate Procurement, driving strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract execution processes for a wide range of support categories.Key Responsibilities:Lead general procurement activities across indirect and support categories.Develop work package procurement plans aligned with commercial policy and EU procurement directives.Manage tendering, evaluation, and contract award processes.Maintain contract registers and procurement documentation.Lead, train, and develop the General Procurement team.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of procurement systems, policy, and governance.Key Requirements:Extensive experience in public sector or regulated procurement environments.Strong understanding of EU Procurement Directives and Irish National Regulations.Demonstrated ability to balance compliance and commercial value in a large matrix environment.Proven people leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.Professional qualification preferred (CIPS, RICS, or similar).Contract OverviewDay rate:€550–€715/day (Inside IR35)Location:Dublin (3 days onsite, hybrid thereafter)Duration:6–12 monthsExpenses:All travel and accommodation fully coveredWhy JoinBoth roles offer the opportunity to work at the forefront of Ireland's largest infrastructure investment — providing commercial leadership and shaping procurement excellence on a nationally significant programme.You'll be joining WSP's experienced commercial function, collaborating closely with TII and the MetroLink leadership team to deliver best practice, value, and assurance across every phase of procurement delivery.#J-*****-Ljbffr
