We have an exciting opportunity for aProcess Technician to join our busy Operations team in the Roscommon/ Sligo Area. Responsibilities: Carrying outInspections, sampling, and analysis of the wastewater treatment plant and implementing the necessary changes when required. This role is very diverse and ranges from process control and monitoring to basic mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair. Liaising with the maintenance team in relation to equipment repairs and routine preventative maintenance. Providing technical support for the management and operations of wastewater sites. Monitoring of SCADA control system. Skills/ Abilities: Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering (or other relevant science/ engineering degree) is desirable but candidates with the relevant experience will also be considered. Full clean driving license. Experience in theoperation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants is desirable. Experience in carrying out laboratory analysis of wastewater parameters. Good communication and organisational skills are essential. The ideal candidate must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
