Senior Data Scientist
Duration: 6 Months (high likelihood of extension)
Location: Remote (Ireland-based)
Start Date: ASAP (4 week notice max)
Our client, a leading Life Sciences organization, is hiring a Senior Data Scientist with deep experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to join on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities You will work on a high-impact initiative to build a smart Q&A chatbot, capable of searching internal documentation and delivering precise, grounded responses using LLMs and RAG techniques.
Skillset Deep experience with LLMs and RAG architectures.
Strong data querying skills with SQL, P-SQL, TSQL, NO-SQL.
Hands-on experience with vector databases.
Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams.
Experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
This is an immediate need for a Data Scientist contractor in Ireland.
