The award-winning Old Ground Hotel is one of the finest luxury hotels in Ennis town centre, ideally located on the doorstep of the Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way.We currently have an opening for a Bar Server for our Poet's Corner Bar at the Old Ground Hotel.The Poet's Corner Bar offers guests a traditional Irish pub experience with high end hotel standards of service.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure all guests receive a genuine warm welcome and have a positive memorable experience during their time in the BarEnsure strong morale among the team at all times.Ensure that guests are served in an efficient, friendly mannerMaximise sales through upselling and excellent customer service.RequirementsMust have strong working knowledge of food and drink service and products including spirits, craft beers, cocktails and local food ingredientsMust be fluent in English and confident to converse freely with guestsMust be willing to assist in other areas of the hotel as requiredMust be available to work a five-day week, to include both weekdays and weekends, as business demands.Must have a warm, friendly and approachable mannerKnowledge of Cocktail making and a good knowledge of Whiskeys and Spirits is preferred but not essentialThis is an exciting opportunity to further develop a career in hospitality in one of Clare's top hotel's.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:Food allowanceLanguage:English (preferred)Work Location: In person
