Staff Grade Cardiac Physiologist
for a leading

based in
Galway
.
Job Purpose:
To provide exceptional patient care.
To provide diagnostic non-invasive cardiology tests and participate in invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.
To maintain confidentiality and a professional approach at all times.
The Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist will perform, conduct and support the following range of cardiac investigations in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures:
Resting 12 lead ECG, interpretation and analysis
Fit and analysis of ambulatory ECG BP and event monitoring analysis
Physiologist led Exercise stress testing, interpretation, and reporting (supervised by an ACLS certified practitioner)
Echocardiography and reporting
Assist in Transoesophageal Echocardiography
Haemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures (supervised unless ACLS certified)
Cardiac rhythm device management (from implant support to follow up and programming)
Key Requirements:
Relevant qualification
2 years' post-graduate experience desirable
