Do you actively seek opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement?Are you invested in developing people and helping them on their career journey?What is the Role: The Analytics function within the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence work with teams from across all areas of AIB group to help business leaders make more informed, data driven decisions and to provide an enterprise MI, BI & Reporting capability.
We lead and drive value from AIB's data, leveraging a wide range of analytical tools, to deliver business benefit and inform decision making at all levels of the organisation.
We support and enable a wide range of internal and external Stakeholders, and are comprised of a team with a diverse mix of skills, from Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Reporting Analysts.
Key Accountabilities; As part of the management team in Analytics, you will:
Establish strong relationships with business partners and key stakeholders, to deliver business success aligned to AIB strategyProvide subject matter expertise to our business colleagues in how to leverageManage the consistent delivery of data requests to enable the delivery of ad-hoc / regular reports, dashboards and data visualisations to internal & external stakeholdersProvide the necessary coaching and support to junior team members on data analysis and visualisation best practicesSupport a continuous improvement culture within the organisation, where innovation and creative thinking is encouraged and developedWhat You Will Bring ; Proven track record in Data & Analytics leadership rolesSelf-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail, completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracyExcellent problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in SQL, Qlik, Power BI and/or other BI toolsExperienced people leader with responsibility for leading and motivating teamsWhy Work for AIB We are committed to offering our colleagues choice and flexibility in how we work and live and our hybrid working model enables our people to balance their time between working from home and their designated office, subject to their role, the needs of our customers and business requirements.
