solutions, we're shaping the future of databases, one developer at a time.What would you do at Prisma?You'll be part of our Prisma Data Platform team which is responsible for Accelerate , Prisma Postgres and the bare metal cloud that those products are built on.To give you a clear idea of what the job could entail, here are some examples of the work we've done lately or will start soon:Choose and deploy a globally distributed configuration store (like etcd, rqlite) for encrypted authentication to enable global routing for Prisma Postgres.Improve automation of our servers with the goal of reducing maintenance overhead and provisioning times.Configure, deploy, monitor, and debug a cutting-edge containerization platform that drives both internal and external tooling and services.Participate in a shared on-call rotation to help ensure reliability of our systems, with an emphasis on fair scheduling, strong tooling, and a culture that values work-life balance.An Ideal Candidate Profile8+ years of experiencein infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering, operating large-scale systems with a focus onLinux, networking, and cloud environments.Experience building and scaling resilient distributed systemsacrossbare metal and cloud platforms(AWS, Cloudflare); strong understanding ofsystems architecture and reliability patterns.Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code(Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar) and automation practices to manage reproducible, scalable environments.High standards for quality, ensuring excellence while balancingpragmatism, purpose, and a strong sense of agency -taking ownership, making thoughtful trade-offs, and driving meaningful impact.Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Be able to articulate complex ideas clearly, adapt messaging to different audiences,give and receive constructive feedback effectively, and foster collaboration across teams.Deep expertise in Linux server administration and networking, including provisioning, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and hardening aligned to security best practices.Fluency in Bash and Debian.Kernel-level debugging is advantageous.Strengthen and scale a mature security postureacross Cloud environments, IAM and secrets management, secure networking and zero trust access controls, CI/CD and dependency hygiene, API and application security best practices, and maintain audit readiness.Youthink critically and communicate your reasoning clearly.You articulate your thoughts in a systematic way, plan effectively, anticipate challenges, and ensure smooth execution while keeping stakeholders aligned.Advantageous:Hands-on programmingexperience in Go, Python, or other scripting languages, with an
