Job descriptionKitchen PorterThe Four Star Bloomfield House Hotel located 5 mins from Mullingar town, are currently recruiting for a Full time Kitchen Porter.This is a vital role in a kitchen as it helps ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.Our successful candidate must be flexible with his/her hours as weekend work is required.Your main duties are:1) To work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of this section ensuring the standards of cuisine and hygiene are maintained2) Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.3) Collect and wash up pots and pans.4) Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.5) Unload food and equipment deliveries.6) Keep the storeroom organised.7) Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.8) Must be able to work well on their own initiative and to work in a team environmentJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Food allowanceGym membershipOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Belvedere, Mullingar, CO.Westmeath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
