Our work positively impacts the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and self-belief to achieve their expressed goals Care Worker- 6159 Tullamore Autism Respite Service Charleville Road,Tullamore, County Offaly Permanent Part Time (30 hours) Job Purpose To facilitate a service user focused service to adults with varying disabilities & complex health needs that include, Intellectual Disability, Epilepsy and Parkinson' Disease. Minimum Education & Skills required Training in responses to behaviour that challenges and medication management. Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Social Care Work Experience not essential but would be an advantage Job Duties & Responsibilities Facilitate and implement a person centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes and requirements of service users. Provide personal assistance in all aspects of personal care and manual handling, ensuring com-fort and hygiene of service users and adhering to safe practice at all times. Assist service users in the taking of medication in line with policy and procedure.
