Overview
Orange Malone is working exclusively with a growing life insurer in Dublin that is looking for an Investment Risk Specialist.
The position reports to the CRO who is based in Bermuda but will sit with 12 others in the team as part of the much larger office in Dublin.
The focus is on financial risk, particularly asset-side risks such as ALM, investment risk, stress testing, and the use of derivatives.
A key part of the role is oversight of the internal economic capital model and responding to evolving regulatory requirements from the BMA.
They are looking for someone with strong experience in ALM and stress testing the balance sheet.
Hands-on exposure to hedging or derivatives would also be good.
It's a relatively small team, so adaptability and willingness to contribute to problem solving is essential.
This isn't a BAU role but more like an on-going project
